Being a Good General Manager

Are you a leader? Do you look to the future with courage and faith? If you have these qualities or abilities, you might make a respectable manager. Someone who can keep his/herself going and who can take charge of what’s next for them is self-motivated type of person. Making decisions with confidence, showing others that you are capable of making good conclusions with personal integrity. Workers trust you because they know you’ll take care of them. Employees are dependable with their superiors, that sometimes you really need to give attention and show them you care. Effective in working with a team to coordinate and achieve common goals.

A good manager knows how to adapt to changes, flexible enough to understand each and every worker’s situation. And never to break down when the pressure is on. The talent to remain calm even others are not. Optimistic is another upright trait of a manager, positive attitude can inspire others and help them feel good about getting things done. And to be right on track also means to be organised. To check the standing regularly, not just the company but also the status of employees.

A good manager needs to be able to communicate effectively; written communication and public speaking. When giving instructions, a manager should be specific in outcomes. Good communication skills make your relationship with the employees stronger.

And one important thing with the manager is having the listening skills. To the superiors and workers. I believe that a good leader or manager is also a good follower.
